Julie Mullen

Client Care Specialist

“From the start, I’ve appreciated the way the Atwell Ford team cares for their clients. It’s why I wanted to be part of the team. I love making people feel special, love thinking of unique things that we could give people or events we can hold to make clients feel appreciated. Atwell Ford has a lot of loyal clients, and I feel like that only happens when you’re taking care of people.”

About Julie Mullen

Before she was Atwell Ford’s Client Care Specialist, Julie Mullen was a client. Abby Atwell was her real estate agent as she and her family bought and sold a few homes in Winston-Salem. As Client Care Specialist, Julie helps Atwell Ford communicate their appreciation for their clients, something she experienced when she was a client herself. One of Atwell Ford’s priorities is to foster ongoing relationships with their clients, and Julie’s role helps develop and execute that priority. In her position, Julie plans client gifts and events, as well as community sponsorships. She is passionate about looking for the small things that can make people feel valued and known.

Julie grew up in Wisconsin and attended school in Illinois at Bradley University where she earned a degree in public relations. Career moves brought her first to Chicago, where she met her husband David, then to Charlotte, and then to Winston-Salem in 2006, which quickly became home. She loves the big city offerings with the small town feel and that it’s such a great place to raise a family. Since being in Winston-Salem, Julie has put her talents to work, organizing events like the annual Ardmore RAH! Fun Run, 5K and 10K races. She added her organizational prowess and attention to detail to the Atwell Ford team in 2026 as a part of the company’s emphasis on being a part of the community.

Julie, her husband, and their four daughters live near Miller Park in the Ardmore neighborhood. When she isn’t engaging in her active hobbies of running, pilates, and yoga, Julie can be found in the kitchen cooking or baking (she used to have a business making custom cakes) or coaching her daughter’s basketball team. She also loves enjoying a happy hour on her porch.
