We Were Selling to Buy Our Dream

Atwell Ford worked miracles for us on two fronts.

First, after looking at lots of houses in our dream neighborhood without finding the one that felt like home, we decided to hunker down and wait a few more years. Three months later, our agent called us one morning and said, “Your perfect house is going on the market this morning!” She sent a few photos, and we set up time to look at it that afternoon. She was right. For the first time, we felt like we walked into our new home. We made an offer that evening and we were under contract on our forever home the next day!

Six years later when we found ourselves both working from home, with a toddler and a nanny, and a second child on the way, there was no question who we would call to help us find a little more space.

When a house popped up on the market we couldn’t resist, it was Christmas time, COVID was rampant, our due date was less than two months away. We were so preoccupied with buying a house that selling our old one got pushed to the background.
