About Jess Martin
As a lead agent, Jess Martin brings her own personal experience buying a home in Winston-Salem to her interactions with her clients. As a home buyer herself, she navigated a very difficult market and felt like she couldn’t compete. During what could have been a discouraging experience, her own realtor made all the difference, giving her hope and persisting through a lengthy process. That journey inspired her to walk others through the home buying process, which she believes can be empowering for anyone–not just those who can make a cash offer.
Jess, a photographer by training, graduated from Randolph Community College in 2015. She uses those skills, both as a freelance photographer and in her career as a social media manager and content creator. Moving back to Winston-Salem in 2019 after a few years in Illinois, she started her journey into real estate and joined the Atwell Ford team in 2024. She loves helping her clients find the same joy she did in buying a home.
Being born and raised in Winston-Salem, Jess has lived in many areas of the city, including Sherwood Forest, Ardmore, and West End. She and her boyfriend, Isaac, live in West Salem with her dog, where Jess enjoys the walkability of the area to some of her favorite haunts. She enjoys cooking, running, and crafting of many varieties, including sewing and linocut. She has recently taken up gardening, a hobby she hopes will flourish in her backyard.
