As Atwell Ford’s Listing Prep Specialist, Melissa Rosales Neff helps sellers prepare their homes for listing. She works closely with sellers, giving them detailed guidance on how to prepare their homes for professional photos during the listing process, as well as how to present the home in the best light for potential buyers. This includes giving advice on everything from decluttering and organizing to picking paint colors and recommending projects to improve the home’s value. Melissa is there to be a support and sounding board for sellers throughout the process of getting the home to market.
Melissa has lived in quite a few places, including Winston-Salem–twice. When she first moved to the city in the mid-2000s, she earned her Masters in Social Work at UNC-Chapel Hill and then served the Winston-Salem community as a social worker for the Forsyth County Department of Social Services. She’s also worked in community building, as a guardian ad litem, and in research and writing in various places where she’s lived. In 2018, she joined Atwell Ford, where she put her eye for design to work helping clients prepare their homes for sale. Melissa has quite the entrepreneurial streak, and she also owns Top Tier Fitness, a gym in downtown Winston-Salem, and co-owns Rosales & Rose, the exclusive home-staging partner of Atwell Ford, with Abby Atwell.
Melissa and her husband, Luke, and their three daughters moved back to Winston-Salem, they bought one of the old Catholic Social Services offices downtown and lovingly restored it back to a single-family home. Melissa enjoys listening to podcasts, working out at her gym, staging her own home to make it more functional, and volunteering at the Arts Based School downtown, where her three girls attend.
