“At Atwell Ford, it’s really important to us that our clients know how much we appreciate them and value the relationships we build with them. I love thinking about the kinds of things that make them feel special and valued. It’s exciting to step into their shoes and imagine what experiences appeal to them and find creative ways to communicate our appreciation.”

About Katie Warner

As Client Care Coordinator, Katie Warner helps Atwell Ford communicate their appreciation for their clients, past and present. It’s important to the Atwell Ford team that they demonstrate to their clients the value that they place on their ongoing relationship, and Katie’s role is to help brainstorm and execute that priority. She’s involved in planning client gifts and events, as well as community sponsorships. She loves being able to take the time to make client interactions personal, as a reflection of how the team feels about their clients. For Katie, working with the Atwell Ford team is a rewarding experience because each member respects and values the contributions of the rest of the team.

Though she grew up in South Carolina, Katie moved to Winston-Salem in 2003, when her husband came here to attend medical school. They quickly built a community in Winston-Salem, and the city became home. She appreciates the accessibility and relaxed feel of the city, and enjoys the variety of activities that you can participate in. Before coming to Winston-Salem, Katie attended Clemson University and earned a degree in Parks and Recreation with an emphasis in Travel and Tourism. With her background in event planning, she was a great addition to the Atwell Ford team as the company continued to grow. She became a part of the team in 2022, as Abby Atwell and Bekah Cooke wanted the company to be a greater part of the community.

Katie and her husband, Ben, and their five children live in the West Salem neighborhood. They moved into a house there when they first moved to Winston-Salem and never left, buying and selling within the neighborhood as their family grew. They love the close access to Washington Park and the Salem Creek Greenway, where they’re often found riding bikes, running, or exercising their dog at the dog park. Katie loves to plan parties in detail, embracing the creativity involved in events, and dreams of opening up her own event space.
